I may be a little biased as I was born there, but Jersey in the Channel Islands is one of the best places to visit for a short break or a longer holiday. So much to see and do. Beautiful beaches. Great surfing and water sports. An award winning zoo. History everywhere. The best festival with the Battle of Flowers in August. Delicious food. French and English all at the same time. And the people are friendly and welcoming.
