Make your travel dreams come true!!

Make your dreams come true!! How many times over the past year have you looked at old holiday photos or a programme on TV and thought “I wish I could be there”? Dreams of places to go are good – they keep us going in dark times. One of my clients used to tell me that she booked her next holiday as soon as she returned from a trip, so that she always had something to look forward to. This past year has been difficult in so many ways, but having no holiday to look forward to makes it even harder. I’ve rebooked as many holidays as I can so that clients due to travel in 2020 are now looking forward to a 2021 holiday instead. However if you don’t have anything planned yet, now is the perfect time to do so.

It’s also a good time to revisit your bucket list – it might be a destination or an experience, doesn’t have to be exotic or expensive. Just something that you’ve dreamed of doing. Think of it in sections if that helps, for example:

– UK – watch a show from a box in the theatre in London. Climb the hill from the old Hovis ad (Shaftesbury, Dorset). See some shows at the Edinburgh Fringe
– If I won the Lottery – visit Tahiti. Take the bullet train in Japan. Stay in a 5 star hotel in Paris, New York and Dubai. Visit an elephant sanctuary. Cruise through the Corinth Canal. Safari in South Africa
– Revisit – Amalfi Coast. Formentera (in the Balearics). Drive Route 66 but take 3 months to do it! See the Taj Mahal at sunrise.
– Really want to: see the Northern Lights. Go to the ballet in St Petersburg or Moscow.

You might have some other sections to add, but the above may be part of mine (or I might have made some up)! Tell me more about your bucket lists
