Where to party?

According to my calendar, 3rd April is World Party Day! Bit tricky when you’re in isolation – but here’s a few ideas of places where you can party when all this is finished.

Rio de Janeiro has one of the biggest street parties for Mardi Gras every year.  The typical Rio carnival has floats and lots of dancing from samba schools.  These schools are a collaboration of local neighbourhoods that get together to party.  The celebrations date back to the 1640s, so this is a well-established party.  In 2021, the Carnival will take place from 21-29 February.

Bangkok is a city with so much nightlife and always ready to party.  Plus as you move between bars and clubs,  its easy to grab some tasty street food.

Many people consider Las Vegas to be the ultimate party city.  Full of hen and stag parties all year round.  Nightclubs, bars, entertainment, pool parties and casinos – something for every determined party-goer.  But remember, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!

Another US city and another Mardi Gras party – where else but New Orleans.  Bourbon Street, the French Quarter and much more.  Music spills out of every bar and everyone is friendly.
