On the first day of Christmas, my true love sent to me a Partridge in a Pear Tree.
Did you know that Italy is one of the biggest pear producers in the world – mainly in the Emilia-Romagna area. This is also home to Bologna – one of the best areas in Italy for food. This trip to Bologna also includes a visit to the world’s largest food market. Plenty of fruit stalls here with local pears.
